This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile game Ohayo Hexa (“the App”, “we”) handles information. The App is developed and operated by Vladislav Bondarovich, an individual developer who is the data controller, contact: feedback@ohayo.by.
Ohayo Hexa is a single-player hexagonal merge puzzle game. There is no account, no sign-in and no social features, and we never ask for your name, email or contacts. Your game progress, statistics and settings are stored locally on your device. The App is free and contains no in-app purchases: it is supported by advertising, and we never process payments or receive any payment data. We do not sell your personal data.
We do not ask you for personally identifying information. The data below is processed through the third-party services in Section 2 to show ads and measure usage:
In-game “Ohayo Coins” are a purely local, in-game score: they are earned by playing, by a daily reward or by watching a rewarded ad, they have no monetary value, they cannot be bought, and they never leave your device.
Where the EU/UK GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interests in running, securing and improving a free, ad-supported game — for non-personalized advertising and for fraud prevention — and on your consent (given through the ATT prompt) for any personalized advertising. You can object to legitimate-interest processing or withdraw consent at any time (Section 9).
We do not show personalized (behaviourally targeted) advertising to users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or where a region cannot be determined; there, ads are non-personalized and no advertising-tracking consent is required. In these regions we also do not run our product analytics: the analytics SDK is never started with our API key, and none of the gameplay events listed in Section 1 are collected or sent. Elsewhere that analytics runs, and personalized ads are shown only if you allow tracking via the ATT prompt. Your region is determined offline from your device locale — we do not collect your location for this.
One component does still run everywhere: the advertising SDK activates its own anonymous measurement during start-up, in every region including the EEA and UK. Its provider documents this as required for the advertising SDK to work at all, so it cannot be switched off without removing advertising altogether. It belongs to the advertising processing described in Sections 1 and 3 rather than to our product analytics: it carries no API key of ours and receives none of our gameplay events, and in these regions it stays non-personalized, like the ads themselves.
Outside the EEA and UK, iOS asks once — after the introductory screens — whether the App may track you across other apps and websites. Choosing “Ask App Not to Track” disables use of the IDFA for personalized ads; you can change this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, or from the App’s own Settings → Privacy → Personalized Ads.
In the EEA and UK the App does not show this prompt at all, and the Personalized Ads control is hidden there: personalized advertising is switched off in those regions regardless of the answer (Section 4), so there is no permission to ask for and the IDFA is never used.
The App uses advertising and analytics services provided by Yandex. Your data may therefore be processed on servers outside your country, including in the Russian Federation, which is not the subject of a European Commission (or UK) adequacy decision. Where data-protection law requires it, such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards or on applicable derogations — for example, that the transfer is necessary to provide the ad- supported service you requested. We minimise what is transferred: in the EEA and UK we run no product analytics (so none of the gameplay events in Section 1 are transferred), and advertising there is non-personalized — what remains is the advertising traffic itself and the ad SDK's anonymous measurement described in Section 4. For the providers’ own transfer safeguards, see the Yandex and AppMetrica privacy policies linked above.
We do not sell your personal information. Where you have allowed tracking (ATT), an advertising identifier may be “shared” for cross-context behavioural advertising as defined by certain US state laws (e.g. California/CPRA); you can opt out at any time by disabling tracking (Section 5) — in the EEA/UK this never happens. Depending on your state you may have rights to access or delete personal information; contact us to exercise them.
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country) and is not in a “Kids” category. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children; personalized advertising is never enabled for users we cannot verify as adults in regions that require it.
Locally stored game data remains on your device until you delete the App. Data processed by the third-party services above is retained per their respective policies. All ad and analytics traffic is transmitted over encrypted connections.
We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
